Thanks to everyone that came out Wednesday for our Senior Show. It meant a lot to see you all there. Adam, Zander, Zach, Miller, Pat, Corey, and Craig, you will be missed.

The Seniors would like to thanks all the support that family and friends have provided over the year.

The University of Rochester YellowJackets are excited to announce the YellowJackets/Vocal Point Alumni Show at its new location in the brand-new River Road Auditorium!

There will be a reception begining at 8PM until Dave gets there and eats all the food (so be on time- he definitely won't be), with the actual concert starting at 9PM. The show will feature, as always, the music of many generations of YJs and VPs past dating back through 50 years, along with possibly a couple songs by the current groups, if we decide to stop being nostalgic and actually let them on stage.

Craig and Cinelli will personally shuttle concertgoers from ITS to the show and back, carrying them piggyback while running at breakneck speed and humming "flight of the bumblebee". Or, there might be busses instead. Lame.

The Jackets are please to announce that they had a concert two days ago. It probably would have made sense to post this before the concert, but due to credible threats against the show received by the CIA involving the laziness of group members in posting news articles, this information was withheld. Thank you those of you who managed to come anyway, and please rest assured that your attendance at our show had absolutely nothing to do with you now being on the TSA's no-fly list.

As an unfortunate side effect of our audition process, we have some new guys now. Their identities are being withheld in accordance with the Associated Press' policy against releasing the names of underage victims.

Come to the Interest Meeting Monday 9/3 at 2pm in the bottom level of the chapel. All the a cappella groups will be giving a free concert and afterwards you can sign up to audition!

The YellowJackets have released 100 limited edition pre-release samplers of their newest album! The CD features 4 tracks from "Bringin' Yellow Back" to be release in early October. All of the limited edition CDs are signed by every member of the 'Jackets. Get a copy from one of the 'Jackets before they are gone!

YellowJackets' Alumni, be sure to register to receive the username and password needed to enter the YellowJacket Alumni Association web page and gain access to YJ exclusive materials. Once inside, you can register your own username and begin posting messages, polls, pictures and much more. In addition, this is where you can keep up to date on Alumni events and look up old YJ buddies.

It's that time of year again when the YellowJackets say a final farewell to their senior members. And you're invited. Come join us:

Friday, April 6th in the May room @ 9:00pm

and say "so-long, so-long" to senior members Jake and Craig (Well, not so much Craig, he's not going anywhere). You'll also hear the groups best songs from this year as well as a few new ones. Grab your tickets at the common market or at the door ($5 UR community, $7 for the public). Hope to see you there.

Save the date! After a year of hard work the YellowJackets are ready to bring you their biggest show of the year. And it's going to Blow - You - Away! Featuring covers of The Fray, Goo Goo Dolls, Keith Urban, Journey, and tons more, as well as visiting group, Cornell's Hearsay, this event is locked and loaded. The show will start at 8pm and be held in Strong Auditorium. Get you tickets at the common market or at the door (while supplies last), $5 for students, $7 for the general public.
